1. Who we are

This website is operated by Dr. Shubhrabaran Das, an individual educator publishing investor-education content under the brand name Dr Shubh ("Invest with Dr Shubh"), based in Tripura, India. We are the data fiduciary responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

You can reach us at any time at unlockwithdrdas@gmail.com or +91 60092 29737.

2. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to deliver the workshop and to answer your questions.

  • Registration details you give us: your full name, email address and mobile number, submitted through the registration form on this page.
  • Communication content: messages you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp, and your questions during the live session.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, referring URL, pages viewed and time on page, collected automatically by our hosting provider and analytics/advertising tools.
  • Advertising identifiers: cookies and pixel identifiers set by Meta (Facebook) Pixel when you arrive from or interact with our ads.

We do not ask for and do not want your PAN, Aadhaar, bank account, demat, trading-account or card details. Please never share them with us or with anyone claiming to represent us.

3. How we use your information

  • To confirm your registration and send you the joining link and reminders.
  • To add you to the official workshop WhatsApp group, if you choose to join.
  • To share workshop material, recordings and follow-up educational content.
  • To inform you about future free or paid educational sessions we run.
  • To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
  • To measure and improve our website and advertising performance, including conversion measurement with Meta Pixel.
  • To meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations, and to prevent misuse or fraud.

Our legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the registration form, together with our legitimate interest in operating and improving this service. Where a payment is ever involved, we also process data to perform our contract with you.

4. Marketing communications and consent

By submitting the registration form you agree to receive workshop-related and educational communications from us by email, phone call, SMS and WhatsApp — including on numbers registered under DND. You can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing unlockwithdrdas@gmail.com with the subject "Unsubscribe", replying STOP, or leaving the WhatsApp group. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

5. Cookies, pixels and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep the site working, and third-party cookies and pixels for measurement and advertising. Specifically, we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand which ads lead to registrations and to build audiences for future ads. These tools may set cookies and receive your IP address, browser data and the events you trigger on this site (for example, page view or form submission).

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use your device's "limit ad tracking" controls, and manage ad preferences in your Facebook/Instagram account settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run this service, under contractual confidentiality obligations:

  • Hosting and database providers that store registrations securely.
  • Google (Google Sheets/Workspace) — registration records are also written to a private spreadsheet we control.
  • Meta Platforms — advertising and conversion measurement.
  • Webinar, email, SMS and WhatsApp providers used to deliver the session and reminders.
  • Payment gateways such as Razorpay, only if you make a payment for a paid offering. Card and bank details are collected and processed directly by the gateway under PCI-DSS standards; we never see or store them.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities, where disclosure is required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety.

7. International transfers

Some of our providers store data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we rely on providers that apply appropriate contractual and technical safeguards to protect your information to a standard comparable to this policy.

8. Data retention

We keep registration data for as long as you remain interested in our educational content, and in any case no longer than 36 months after your last interaction with us, unless a longer period is required for legal, tax or dispute-resolution purposes. After that, records are deleted or anonymised. You may ask us to delete your data sooner.

9. How we protect your data

Registrations are transmitted over HTTPS and stored in access-controlled systems with row-level security and validation rules. Access is limited to people who need it to run the workshop. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we review our safeguards regularly and will notify you and the relevant authority of a significant breach as required by law.

10. Your rights

Under Indian data-protection law you may ask us to:

  • confirm what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct or complete inaccurate or outdated information;
  • erase your data where it is no longer needed;
  • withdraw consent and stop marketing communications;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf; and
  • raise a grievance about how we handled your data.

Email unlockwithdrdas@gmail.com with the subject "Data request". We verify your identity using the email or mobile number you registered with and respond within 30 days.

11. Children's privacy

This website and the workshop are intended for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

Our pages link to third-party services such as WhatsApp, Zoom and Google. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. Please review them before sharing information.
